I am happy to call the Ottawa area home once again for myself, my wife and our 3 children. Although born and raised here, I left to pursue academics and athletics at McGill University in Montreal. Upon graduation, I was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the CFL and embarked on a 14 year playing career that included the Edmonton Eskimos, Ottawa Renegades, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and finally  the Saskatchewan Roughriders where I was part of the 2007 Grey Cup championship team.

Upon retirement from the CFL, I immediately began my professional career as a full service Investment Advisor. Being securities licensed in both Ontario and Quebec and insurance licensed allows me to offer my clients the widest array of wealth solutions to address all weatlh planning issues. Additionally, in a constantly changing environment I have made the commitment to an ongoing education plan in order to keep abreast of regulatory and governmental changes to issues concerning your financial well being.

Having "retired" once already and personally gone through some major life transitions recently, I believe I have a unique insight into the lives of many of my clients. That is why I have chosen to take a "life first" planning focus with my practice. What this means to you is that before I ever recommend and implement an appropriate investment and/or insurance solution to help you achieve your long term financial goals I spend time upfront to gain a good understanding of your personal situation. Initial discussions are often focused on answering the following:
-Where have you been?
-Where are you now?
-Where are you going?

Furthermore, it has been my experience that the reason the majority of my clients have seeked out my counsel is because they are coming up upon or have recently experienced a major life transition. These transitions may include:
-Retirement
-Sale/Succession of a Business
-Marriage/Divorce
-Births/Deaths

All of the above life transitions have a financial consequence and my advice has helped my clients to succesfully navigate life's twists and turns better.

My goal is to help my clients take the things in life that are most important to them and translate those dreams and goals into a concrete, workable and ultimately attainable financial plan.

If this has resonated with you, feel free to give me a call to arrange for an initial sit down and a cup of coffee. Keep in mind the coffee is always on me!
